I have been creating these interactive ritual sculptures for about 25 years, and though they have evolved (they got fancier! They used to be trash and recycling, and overtime were made from paper clay!) the essence of them has been the same. They are intended to be engaged with as a tangible place for relationship with the Ancestors. A place for your joys and sorrows. A place to bring your secrets to, including secret wishes.
I came to create these because I never really knew any of my ancestors, including my parents all that much. I needed a place to be in relationship with, where I could belong and where I could LITERALLY touch and FEEL that belonging — so I made it. I made it with what I had as a poor kid. And I still make them.
Folks have asked me to create them for them over the years, and I have on special occasion. I occasionally teach classes where we create them together. But this year, I’m opening the books for creating these vessels for you who are ready to be in direct relationship and STEWARDSHIP of your relationship with the ancestors.
This offering includes a 45 minute session with me to discern what your vessel is all about and who or what lines it wants to be connected to. Some vessels come out pointing in a specific direction, while others are more general. We can’t always know what it will direct the attention towards until it’s made.
Note: They come out as they come out, when they come out. I commit to getting your vessel to you within 21 days, and if it will be longer, I commit to being in direct communication with you. They often come out immediately, but sometimes they need some time. Please be aware that this is a process of listening and responding to the call.
