No one above, no one below…

There comes a point where healing and growth stops being the edge.

You’ve done the work.
You see the patterns.
You hold others.
Your work even generate results.

And still—something is off.

There’s a distortion.

We’re conditioned to see life is a like a train moving along the track with stops along the way. Schooling, marriage, kids, career, retirement, death. Sure, there are some changes in scenery, but it’s still a linear progression on a predetermined track with a DESTINATION.

The spiritual train of life … don’t even get me started! We’re often PUT on the train before we know there’s even a choice, and the destination is often within the current Western context not even within life, but in the AFTERLIFE.

Our Sovereignty — and, our worldview on Community is tampered with on these train routes.

Sovereignty isn’t what we think it is. We’re operating on a first draft of what it means to be an individual, which since we left the proverbial garden is a being who is EXTRACTING from the world to survive. We’re beginning to be the EMERGENT human who is individuated and bringing their gifts to the whole living organism of consciousness.

When we BECOME the emergent sovereign human, how we do community naturally reorganizes. We consciously CHOOSE to be BESIDE each other, rather than sustain through even subtle extraction.

Witness is essential in becoming.

In Soul Friend, we’re no longer in a train “getting through” the richest parts of life. We’re in the “wonkavator.” There’s enough containment to know where the spatial boundaries are, but we’re not set to go in one direction. The scenery changes because you’re EXPANDING, not just moving through through the landscape.

The scale of everything around you changes. Things that looked impassable before become the ground we walk on.

Soul Friend is a reorientation of the speed scope and scale of life, of experience.

Why? Bec it gives a home for the hunger for community, divinity and right relationship service without sacrificing sovereignty.

The process uncouples our spirituality from system.

It reorganizes what care looks like — from giving, giving, giving endlessly to be chosen, to giving from being SOURCED by direct relationship with Bigger Bodies.

It unyucks the yum or receiving money for care.

It makes a stand in reorganizing what spiritual power and business and community looks like by SEEING the underpinning framework, getting more conscious of where we’re personally ensnared and putting into practice our highest wishes for the beautiful world we know is not only possible, but already here.

The What:

This formational walk prepares you to step into your own MODALITY of inter-spiritual leadership.

There are 20 modules of material relevant to being a skilled and formationally attuned companion and guide in 1:1 and group settings. The material is potently distilled from years of experiential research and direct experience of holding 100’s of hearts with great care. 

❋ Collaborative Energy

Connection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself. It can be confronting to work in small groups, to pause in between each share and not just jump in with response, story, a tissue. The circle is a most potent teacher and activator in this formational process. 

❋ Expert Facilitation

Led by Meg, an award winning community leader with 20 years of experience in space holding, facilitation and teaching. who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.

Part One

Who am I?

In the first part of the walk, we’ll be immersed in deeply listening to who and how YOU really are. What’s important to you? What’s holy? What’s profane? What holds you back from being present and what brings you in closer? 

Opening Ceremony

We’ll meet and set the tone and make agreements. 

Open Module Group meets

For the duration of the program, we’ll meet twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month for about 120 mins. These meetings support module exploration and serve as a way to practice Soul Friendship as a group. The flow: a drop in, check in, open floor, a check out, announcements and a clap. 

2 Virtual Retreats a year

There are two virtual retreats that will happen in February and June that will replace our regular meetings where we drop into more depth with self study, fellowship and additional opportunities to practice. 

4 high touch 1:1's with meg a year

These sessions are quantum accelerators. Nothing is off limits. Everything is approached through the spiritual direction model being trained. 

Part Two

Who are you?

In part two of Soul Friend, we turn our focus towards beginning to work with others, and finding our way to becoming the modality through practicum. 

Practicum

To complete Soul Friend, candidates will be required to fulfill 25 hours of Practicum.

This can look like:

  • 1:1 sessions

  • Circle / Group Work

  • Community Service in a way that clearly brings the tenants of Soul Friend into practice. 

Final Project

Candidates are expected to complete a final project that reflects personal development and touches on the inner life movements made within the program.

Apprentice Modules

And, candidate are also expected to create a recorded module on a topic of their choosing that will be shared with future Soul Friend Apprentices. 

Ordination

Upon completing all requirements, candidates will receive ordination from both Meg and the cohort. Ordination truly comes from within — and from being appointed by community as a ceremonial acknowledgement of the call and maturation to step into the call as a steward and in service to the community and world at large.

Note: to perform weddings, your state may require a coordination, which can be acquired online.

How It Works

  • See the application HERE and fill it out.

  • After reviewing your application, Meg will reach out to you and book a call to ensure both parties are mutually a good fit.

  • If both parties are a full bodied “yes!” to the program, you’ll receive a contract agreement to sign. You would then review, sign and send over your deposit.

  • Then the work begins.

    Actually, it begins long before you walk through the door, but we’ll celebrate and warmly welcome you in and create a time to meet in convocation as the cohort expands.
