Don’t Just Do Something, Be Here is a self paced collection of inquiry, invitations, thoughts and stories from my experience for you to resource as you re-connect with yourself and drop into a courtship relationship with practice. I share my story and what grounds me and what has grown for me through this long initiation of soul and the now evident gold that is beginning to substantially shine from within me through trusting this process. Though I can’t tell you what practice is for you, I can share portals inward and things to try to get some feedback for your own investigation and experimentation with practice.

We Become What We Practice

This open-date planner is curated for the 2025-2026 year, and is organized quarterly, by season, with resources for creating and sustaining a daily or otherwise regular practice. The planner begins in Spring, mirroring Earth’s energetics of beginning, but it’s structured so you can drop into it at any time by starting (or restarting) in whatever season/quarter you’re in at that moment. If you need a period of rest from practice or tracking, you won’t lose anything – this resource is always ready for your return.

Each quarter is held by a theme and the energetics of place.

Spring: April-June: HEART / FOREST
Summer: July-September: SOUL / SHORE
Fall: October-December: BODY / FOREST
Winter: January-March: MIND / MOUNTAIN

This course is centered around Lectio Divina, an ancient gazing practice. The words Lectio Divina mean "Sacred Reading," and has been used as a way to encounter both inner and outer divinity. This practice is not about making something "perfect," but rather creating from the well within and seeing what emerges, which is often very beautiful, and which may lead to creating a body of work of 30 faces in 30 days.

In June of 2024, I went up to Vancouver, BC to record an album with Marc L’Esperance. Joined by the magnificent Norah McLaughlin on backing vocals, it’s a sweet and powerful collection of songs.
