The Energy of Recognition
Being SKILLED in imagination in our leadership, means being SKILLED at recognizing the THROUGH LINE of where something can move from the field of possibility, into undeniable, irresistible form — and that’s essential data for moving at an accelerated pace before there’s proof.
Recognition is a skill within Imagination.
It’s SEEING something for what it REALLY is.
It’s SO familiar that it’s read as signal before cognitively legible.
When we cultivate the skill of recognition through the lens of imagination, we see what we knew of ourselves and our deepest longings before the masks were put on — and we see the pathway to bring the essence of that truth into our now before we FEEL ready.
2. Coherence
Leaders skilled in imagination TRAIN themselves and others into more COHERENCE. Inner life matches outer expression, outer life matches inner integrity.
We all have Anomalous Traits — but not everyone is up for the journey of CLAIMING what makes them exceptionally unique and bringing those gifts in service to the greater good. Leaders with skillful capacity to access the inner life and bring what’s within into the light and BECOME more full spectrum lead before a word ever escapes their mouths.
And — it’s high time for more TRUTH in leadership. Coherence brings truth into every layer of thought, word and deed.
3. Expansion of Possibility and Self Concept
Leaders skilled in imagination lead people into greater possibilities and expanded self concept through their EMBODIED frequency. They PRACTICE getting comfortable with what’s uncomfortable, and can sit with uncertainty without spiraling.
The Anomalous Hero is practiced at leaping before there’s proof, and every leap bakes embodiment into their personal field, and others can’t help but be ignited by that. It may be confronting, it may be exhilarating — either way, it’s leadership, and the more an Anomalous Hero can stand in that in coherent leadership, the cleaner, more impactful their presence is.
4. Critical Thinking
We’re talking upper levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy — where creativity is accessing novel solutions to the most novel problems of our times.
The Anomalous Hero is not outside of having problems, we are just aiming for higher level problems that demand our most unique gifts and abilities to solve.
It’s not a good use of our gifts to gossip, complain, or remain in environments that regurgitate the same busy-work that brings us to pull our hair out. We’re not here for that.
There’s an increase of ADHD and Autistic and deeply creative/alternative people that have landed on earth in the last 50 years, and what I KNOW about that is that we are here to lead the shifts that are happening. We are particularly qualified, skilled and adept at precisely what’s needed to make reality real and human again. To LEAD that, we need to get deeply skilled at accessing our most original thoughts, visions, ideas — and APPLY them to our lives through practice.
5. The willingness to purposefully put themselves in elevated high randomness spaces where anything can happen.
Anomalous Hero’s are not here for the run-of the-mill conversations, connections, gigs, or LIFE. We are here to IGNITE culture, and it’s therefore essential for us to POSITION ourselves in cultural rooms where our taste and mindset sustain peak elevation.
It’s often hard for us to find peers, so we’ve tended to stay in contexts where our gifts are underutilized, and it’s harming more than just ourselves — it slows the progressive development of culture.

6. They are practiced at not overthinking.
Nearly every Anomalous Hero I’ve met and walked with is a bit stuck in their heads — and it handicaps them from ACTING on their callings.
The Integrated Anomalous Hero INTENTIONALLY brings their body and heart online — and because of that, they often become WILDLY successful very swiftly because as my mentor says, “matter is the last metric.”
Once you align your actions with your inner world, EVERYTHING moves with incredible potency.
It doesn’t work to wait until everything is aligned. Decide, Act, Adjust.
7. They not only SEE what others are missing, They LEAD others to see beyond limitation into possibility — and KNOW that what they’re seeing is REAL.
So many of us were conditioned out of TRUSTING our imaginations.
“That’s just pretending."
“That’s impractical.”
“Stop daydreaming!”
“Get real.”
The thing is, imagination is NOT pretend. It’s not impractical. It IS REAL.
When the rock speaks to you, it’s really speaking to you.
When you get the intuitive nudge to take a new route home, you’re being invited to be in a deepened relationship with LIFE.
We’ve been conditioned out of trusting the faculty, the organic tech that makes us DANGEROUS to the established systems — because if more of us KNEW that we BELONGED, that we’re inherently WORTHY, that we’re SOVEREIGN … everything would change nearly overnight.
The way we spend our time and money and what we give our attention to would shift drastically, and that would reshape culture.
The Legacy Leader is the one who SEES what other’s don’t perceive — AND makes it real by BEING it.
8. They are not risk adverse, and do not fear failure.
True leaders fail fast, and they fail often.
They do not assign morality or identity to trying and failing.
In fact, they PURPOSEFULLY avail themselves to conditions that TEST the data, and get the failures out of the way first so they can put their resources into developing the right offer, the right relationships/partnerships, the right product.
9. They don’t stay loyal to something that is no longer serving the bigger picture.
The integrated Anomalous Hero is skilled at being graceful in transitions when possible — and flat out pivoting if needed.
One of the biggest pieces of conditioning I’ve personally had to overcome, and that I’ve witnessed in others is False Loyalty — staying LOOOOOOONG after something is no longer viable to be pouring time, energy, and care into.
The world was moving at a different pace even 10-15 years ago — and we maybe thought that we were wrong or weird and that the only option was to stay and learn the “ways of the world.” What we know now is that WE AUTHOR THE WAYS OF THE WORLD, and that we don’t need to position ourselves at the mercy of anything.
10. They CREATE their reality, they don’t wait for others to author it for them.

I’ve been the Mother of The Weirdo Nerds, the Queer kids, The ADHD creatives…. even inmates, elders with dementia, and Trouble-Making Tricksters for over 25 years.
I have a SUPER high threshold for the things that others run out of bandwidth for, and have been designing things to support the fringe-dwellers because I KNEW at some point it would be OUR TIME. (cue The Goonies — “Up there, it’s their time, it’s THEIR time, up there. Down here, it’s our time, it’s OUR time down here.”)
For real tho. It’s our time. And, it’s our time to BE UP THERE.
