The Anomalous Hero. Pt 1.
The Anomalous Hero is not truly separate from the Traditional one. We just do the Quest a bit differently.
The Traditional Hero lives a more neat and tidy life. Their ambitions are more straightforward and legible to the systems, bec the systems were built by them and for them.
There are adages that genuinely guide the Traditional Hero:
“If you work hard, you’ll be successful.”
“Slow and steady wins the race.”
The Traditional Hero has anomalous traits and experiences anomalous breakthrough moments where the nature of their reality bends.
A significant distinction between the hero’s is that The Anomalous Hero LEADS with their anomalous traits and RECOGNIZES the potential of anomalous events as data for the long game — whereas the Traditional Hero may try to smooth over the anomalous traits and may see the anomalous events as novel occurrences rather than re-defining moments.
Each Anomalous Hero responds to the anomalies differently depending on their arrangement of the primordial forces of Creation, Destruction and Maintenance.
An Ignitor comes into this world knowing how to CREATE. They’re skilled at getting out of the way when it’s time. Their shadow force Maintenance gives them the opportunity to uncover the GIFT that’s cultivated when they mature into devotion. As they deepen into their most Sacred Ambitions, their hyper-creativity leads to visionary momentum that re-shapes the world around them.
Whereas a Steward is naturally so stable and inclined to create what nourishes others first, they APPEAR to be Traditional Hero’s until something (or a series of something’s) sparks them to dissolve where their stability is performance and they begin to source permission from within rather than from external validation. Their shadow force of Destruction/ Dissolve gives them the opportunity to uncover the GIFT of Regeneration — and as they individuate with more wholeness, their gifts serve the cosmological totality of consciousness. Nbd.
All to say, being the Anomalous Hero isn’t about rebellion and not all of us are here to tear systems down. There’s a living sequence, a full spectrum of how we can collaborate to lead a whole new era of leadership beside each other.
